On February 13-14th, 2010, the first training on the course "Business Journalism", developed under the project of PF "Decenta" and PF "MediaNet", implemented with the support of the European Union took place in Pavlodar.

Among participants of the training were local Pavlodar journalists, teachers and students of local universities. Trainer and developer of the special course is the President of the PF "Center for Business Journalism "BizMedia" Tulegen Askarov.

The project also includes courses in other areas - analytical, human rights, environment, photo- and Internet journalism. Same trainings on special courses, in addition to Pavlodar, are expected in other regions of Kazakhstan. Almaty trainings will be held on the basis of KIMEP, including trainings on business and human rights journalism, on March 9-10th, 2010.
