16 May 2011, Almaty.Today GSM Kazakhstan/Kcell announced the maximum reduction of tariffs for calls within Kcell, Activ, Vegaline networks by 20%.

Now the maximum cost of calls within the network of GSM Kazakhstan/Kcell will be 20 tenge, including VAT. These steps are undertaken by the Company to continue its stage-by-stage strategy on tariffs reduction implemented by GSM Kazakhstan/Kcell for the past several years. "The mission of our company is to make cellular communication affordable for all citizens of Kazakhstan generating maximum value to our subscribers.

Previously the company has already reported on a number of steps taken towards the reduction of subscribers' costs for cellular communication. In particular, the Company cancelled the connection fee for all tariff plans in February, implemented one second billing rate in March and reduced the cost of mobile Internet access by 35 times. Therewith the company reaffirms that it is ready to continue the development of new pricing offers to make mobile communication even more affordable for the residents of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
