US Judge Rejects Kazakhstan Bank's Bid To Halt Lawsuit

A federal bankruptcy judge has denied an attempt by a Kazakhstan bank to use U.S. bankruptcy law to shield it from an overseas legal proceeding, a ruling that limits the reach of the bankruptcy court in foreign insolvency disputes.
